Age Requirement & Verification

You must be at least 13 years of age to use Stage Whisper. Certain content and features (including 18+ content tags and NSFW campaigns) require additional age verification.

To access age-restricted content, you must complete age verification through Didit (didit.me), our third-party verification provider. By initiating verification, you:

  • Consent to being redirected to Didit's platform
  • Agree to Didit's collection and processing of facial biometric data and (where applicable) identity documents
  • Agree to Didit's End User Terms for Identity Verification
  • Agree to Didit's Verification Privacy Notice
  • Represent that any identity documents you provide are your own and are accurate

If you are under the age of majority in your jurisdiction, you represent that you have obtained parental or guardian consent to use the service, including the age verification process.

We reserve the right to restrict or terminate access if age verification cannot be completed or is determined to be fraudulent.

Use of Service

By using Stage Whisper, you agree to use it in accordance with these terms. Stage Whisper is provided as-is for AI-powered text-adventure gameplay.

Your Content

You retain full ownership of all content you create in Stage Whisper: your campaigns, characters, lore, session transcripts, and any creative works. We store and process this content on your behalf. We do not claim any rights over your work.

AI-Generated Content

Responses generated by the AI GM during gameplay are part of the shared storytelling experience. These are not copyrighted works belonging to Stage Whisper. Use them as you wish.

Account Responsibilities

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and for all activities that occur under your account.

Acceptable Use

Do not use Stage Whisper for illegal purposes, or to generate content that violates applicable laws or the policies of our AI providers. User content that violates third-party rights or applicable law may be removed.

AI Provider Data

Your session content is processed by third-party AI providers. Each provider has its own terms of service and data policies. BYOK users: your API key usage is subject to your chosen provider's terms.

Service Availability

Stage Whisper is provided without warranty. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service. Planned maintenance or outages will be communicated where possible.

Changes to Terms

These terms may be updated. Changes will be posted on this page. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
